Would you like to pursue an exciting career in the Dance Industry?
ADTR offers accredited Course 10301NAT Certificate 1 in Dance Techniques Integrating Aboriginal Dance.
This is a one year full-time course with a focus on gaining employment in the performing arts industry. Various forms of “Dance” is the major feature - together with Aboriginal Studies, Music, Literacy and Numeracy for the Arts. Excursions and Field Trips together with live performance opportunities are integrated into the course.
ABSTUDY ASSISTANCE is available for all students and accommodation can be arranged if needed. This exciting career in dance is open to all Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Youth age 16 to 24 and it is all FREE. No Dance experience or school qualifications are required to enter this course.
All classes are taught by professional artists with years of experience.
